HOWEVER.....In some circumstances, it will be inappropriate to use a gun for self-defense. Deadly force may not be justifiable or necessary. Sometimes it will just not be possible to use a gun, even if you have one. It is down-right foolish to think of self-defense strictly in terms of firearms or other weapons!
