|

Ok,
I've searched the carbine forum but didn't see where anyone has
actually installed one of Bushman's charging handles upgrades. So has
anyone installed it on a 4095?
*Calling all 4095 owners*
Anyone who has installed Bushman's upgrades(Charging handle or trigger) please post up!

Bushman said he thought someone had done it but he couldn't remember who it was.
If it was installed it must have worked or he would have heard of it not working. _________________ Tooguns |

My
holdopen has issues.Needs to be enlarged.I found how to lighten the
trigger pull and I thought a better trigger might make it even better _________________ Tooguns |

Well
guys, since no one came forward and said yay or nay then we can only
assume that it has not been done. What we need now is a guinea pig. So
I offer you this, buy one, try it out, if it doesn't work just send it
back and a full refund will be issued. If it does work, post a nice
review for all to read.
I would like someone with some mechanical inclination to be the first... in case minor alterations are needed.
So, what say you. _________________ Smith & Wesson 22A,

Note: I cleared the following with Oneofsix.
I received two charging handles from Bushman98 today. I installed one on my 4095 and it works perfectly. Because of its larger size, I prefer it to the stock charging handle.
Thank you Bushman! |

Ok, looks like at least one guy used a charging handle for a 4095. He said it fit, but I wrote him back to confirm that it also locked back.
Oneofsix will get his soon..... for the second opinion. _________________ Smith

Wanted to bring this up to date-
Charging handle works great, drop in fit so to speak, locks back fine
trigger sneak preview
Co-witnessing scope idea I'm working on, probably already done(excuse the zip ties)

Bushman trigger update-
I had to do some fitting to the trigger, looking closely above the
trigger was hitting the guard and preventing firing and reset.
Currently, the reworked trigger is on its way back to Bushman so it can be replicated.
Soon as I get it back it's going in!
Get ready 4095 owners that want a Bushman trigger... _________________ Rightful

I have the improved handle on my 4095 and it works great.
I tried the trigger but it is slightly different on the 995, so I had some issues on my .40. It sure looked good though...
Bushman is supposed to send another trigger as soon as he gets it worked out for me to try.
But yes, the op handle has no issues. |

UPDATE:
Oneofsix sent me his trigger. I'm seding his back and a "reversed engineered" version that I made.
I've also sent another one to another member and hopefully he will post
his comments. If it fits and functions, they will be sold at my
webstore.
Oneofsix, thanks for all the help and hope to hear from you soon. _________________ Smith

**UPDATE**
Range report on the Bushman trigger-worked just fine at the range
today. Made a quick trip just to test it as I want to get the original
Bman trigger I worked on back in the gun.
I did no work on this one, just installed it. Only one time did I
experience any trouble, had one time it stuck in the rearward position,
but Bushman and I had already spoke about this and the production
models shouldn't stick at all as the problem area should be fixed.
Like I said, a quick trip to the range, only 50 rounds as I had a
shortage of time. Before anyone picks up on it, the targets below only
show 42-43 holes, thats because the first 7-8 went downrange using only
the red dot laser and I didn't hit squat. At 10 yds I'm not even sure I
hit the target holder. Oh well, off it comes and maybe a Bushman flash
hider will take it's place.
25 yds
10 yds
25 yds
all in all, good day at the range, short tho it was _________________ Rightful

Very nice: thanks for the range report and pix.
AND for the MyTargets.com link
I have the trio and, after procrastination and screwing around, expect
to post pix and report myself within the week. Gotta love Bushman's
stuff! _________________ "If

I have installed bushmans triggers, charging handles, and flash hider on both my 995 and my 4095 also a prototype trigger on my JHP45.I headed to the range both the 995 and 4095
had the trigger stick back after you fired. The JHP 45 worked fine
fired 54 rounds feels good worked smoothly. All the factory triggers
look the same one had some work on it little ground off the bottom and
front it came out of the 4095.
We cut the range time short to come home and grind a little off the 2
triggers and after doing that I took some off the trigger guard which
is what I should have done to start with. Took the 995 and 4095 blackout yesterday 120 rounds thru the 995 it worked flawlessly, 160 rounds thru the 4095
the trigger was still a little sticky at first but was working great
after a few rounds. I'm very happy with triggers, the charging handles
are the best thing since the candy bar, and they do lock back matter of
fact it made the 4095 much easierto do so, and the flash hiders look great.
